After your installation is complete, our customer service department will assist you with any questions you may have. Our dedicated staff will be able to answer any service related questions as well as scheduling a service call if required. We also take pride in our ability to respond to each customer in a timely manner. American Vision understands the importance of customer service after your installation has been completed, which is why we will be here to service you.

How To's

Cleaning the glass:
Clean with solution of half vinegar and water. After wiping with solution, use clean cloth to dry windows. After first initial cleaning with this solution, customer can use “Sprayway”, available at Home Depot or Costco.
Cleaning Vinyl Window and Patio Door Tracks:
Use silicone spray. Spray on the track, do not wipe. Available at Home Depot. View step-by-step.
Cleaning Weep Holes:
Use compressed air, same product used to clean computer boards. View step-by-step.
Water Testing:
Do not use hose. Using a hose is 10 times stronger than normal rainfall. Normal rainfall is the best water test. If leaking during rainfall, we will send a technician to inspect.
Condensation:
Condensation on exterior of window is normal. Condensation between panes is not, and usually indicates, among other things, seal failure.
Locking of Double Hung Windows:
In the event the customer can not lock the window, the customer should ensure that the top sash is completely shut before trying to lock the window.
Locking Patio Door:
Door will not lock unless the door is shut all the way, engaging the mortise enabling the door to be secured. View step-by-step.
To Remove Screen Door:
Loosen screws on four corners to lift wheels up into track, lift up and out on door to remove. View step-by-step.
