We’re looking for a competitive, passionate, and goal-oriented General Manager to join American Vision Windows and Baths. In this role, you’ll be tasked with quickly and aggressively building a sales pipeline and developing a high-performance team. You’ll have the freedom to create and implement strategies that will lead to the continued growth of our organization.

A general manager trains, supervises and supports a company’s sales team to supply window and bath products, and services to residential homeowners. They’ll need to provide customer service to clients and businesses, as well as establish relationships with our window and bath manufacturers and other suppliers. Administrative tasks include managing customer accounts and updating customer information, such as contact and billing methods, and input of documentation in Market sharp.

As a manager, you’ll establish budgetary restrictions and measure costs for all of a company’s projects. In the sales aspect of the profession, managers might need to propose marketing and promotions campaigns designed to drive customer leads, perform demonstrations in showroom, at home show events, and focus on inventory. Be apprised of new designs through research and be familiar with new construction ideas, and ensure the company’s services comply with state and federal regulations, and provide written reports on all aspects of the sales department.

Skills Requirements

This general manager position is dependent on knowledge of window replacement and bath installations. May need detailed knowledge of specific equipment, restrictions, and legal guidelines to advise customers on various H.O.A. regulations, environmental issues if any, waste handling, and care of product cleaning procedures. Continually analyze the sales process in an effort to refine and improve its success, and work with upper management to establish sales reporting framework.

Strive to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction with all customer interactions. Leads and manages the sales department’s employees. Has the authority and responsibility to hire, fire, allocate work, provide training, set and inspect performance expectations, evaluate performance, reward and recognize, discipline, and recommend wage changes, promotions, transfers, or any other change of employee status. His/her recommendations are given serious weight in each decision.

Is responsible to ensure the thoroughness and accuracy of all sales designs and pricing; resulting in high quality sales which will drive high quality production installations. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient computer skills. A valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Educational Requirements

We would like to see a bachelor’s degree, and or five plus (5+) years’ experience as general/sales manager in construction. Some relevant majors for construction general managers include business administration, marketing, and technical sales management.

Experience Requirements

Experience training and implementing sales systems and programs. Proven ability to motivate, guide, and direct a team to reach and exceed business goals.
